The gathering, spearheaded by humanities teacher and seventh grade POD advisor, Wendy Leighton highlighted artwork, research and presentations that students did on icons such as Michelle Obama, Rosa Parks, Christopher Reeves and George Takai.
Talks addressed larger civil rights movements as well as small day to day acts of kindness, understanding and respect for self and others.
