Student Services

At Monte del Sol Charter School our aim is to serve every student and meet them where they are. To this end, we provide Special Ed services, counseling, career and college preparation and counseling, and other services as needed. Please contact the department you need directly.

Special Education

Special Education services are available for students with an IEP. If there is concern that a student might need more support an SST process can be started to see if they qualify for Special Education services or a 504 plan.

Counseling at Monte del Sol

Counseling services are available to every Monte students including their families. Additionally, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and anti-bullying and community building activities through RESOLVE are taught as part of the school’s curriculum.

After School Program

Monte del Sol offers an after-school program with activities in music, art, theater, yoga and fitness as well as credit-recovery and homework support. Most groups run from 4:00 – 5:30. For more information, contact:

College + Career Plaza

Monte del Sol is delighted to have added Carolina Tavarez from College and Career Plaza to our staff. Her hours are 8:15-4:15 on Tuesday- Thursday, and her office is in Portable 7.
