Monte del Sol Charter School offers employees exceptional benefits. This includes 6 weeks of paid medical leave as covered in our CBA or collective bargaining agreement. In addition, faculty are allowed up to 12 days of leave per school year and accumulate 2.5 hrs of leave every two weeks. We are a small school and close knit community. Faculty, staff, administrators and the board of directors work closely together to create and maintain a positive, healthy and productive learning environment on and off campus. We seek a Certified New Mexico teacher endorsed in Science (grades 7-12). The successful applicant will join a professional team of educators dedicated to fostering strong interpersonal relationships with students, boosting student agency, and meeting students’ diverse academic and social-emotional needs. Kitchen Manager

Join a School Kitchen That Makes a Difference!
Are you passionate about food and committed to supporting young people? A small, vibrant charter school in Santa Fe is seeking an innovative and educationally minded Kitchen Manager to lead our school’s daily food service and contribute to a healthy, sustainable school community.

About the Role
As Kitchen Manager, you will plan, schedule, assign, and oversee all kitchen operations in our commercial school kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
+Preparing daily breakfast and lunch for 200+ students (lunch) and approximately 75 students (breakfast)
+Developing and serving nutritious, NSLP-compliant menus, including vegetarian options
+Managing food ordering, inventory, and kitchen budget
+Maintaining accurate production records and submitting required documentation
+Ensuring compliance with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and food safety regulations
+Overseeing sanitation procedures and enforcing kitchen cleaning schedules
+Training and supervising kitchen staff, including substitutes
+This position requires a strong understanding of federal, state, and local food service regulations, particularly NSLP requirements such as production sheets, meal counts, edit checks, and sanitation standards.

We understand the ideal applicant might not have prior experience in the NSLP, but if they are willing to learn and grow in building this knowledge, we can provide professional support.

Out-of-School Coordinator (Part-Time)
We seek an energetic, organized, and connected individual to coordinate our out-of-school activities. Activities may include before or after-school tutoring, partnering with local youth organizations, and organizing outings to gyms, trails, and other events. The successful candidate must be reliable, self-directed, organized, an effective communicator, and collaborative. Bilingual (English/Spanish) will help communicate with families. Educational Assistant
Responsible for providing inclusion services to IEP students and supporting general education students when possible. Collaborate with the Direct Service Special Education and regular education teachers to support the delivery of accommodations and help students meet their academic and social-emotional goals.
