Canvas is a web-based learning Management System (LMS) that is used by MdSCS as a digital classroom to help teachers manage coursework, share materials, assign grades and manage comunication with students and parents.

How to Create Your Canvas Parent Account

Here are the instructions on how parents can become observers in their student’s classes:
 
1.  Parents must create an account with canvas.  They need to go to https://mdscs.instructure.com/login/canvas.
 
2. The parent needs a student pairing code.  There are two ways to get it.
