Monte del Sol receives Innovation Zones Award

Monte del Sol was one of 47 schools across New Mexico chosen for a Schools in Innovation Zones award. Schools in Innovation Zones reimagine the student experience of learning by cultivating reciprocity between schools, youth, and community, weaving local assets, and implementing critical changes to how young people are engaged – leading to meaningful outcomes that benefit the community. We will be using the grant to support Mentorship, Arts Collaborative experiences, Work-Based Learning, Career and College Planning, and committee work around Profile of a Graduate and Pathways development at Monte.
