Soriba Fofana shows middle schoolers the steps to a West African dance during a visit to Monte del Sol Charter School by the Wassa Dance and Drum Ensemble on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025 for a gathering in celebration of Black History Month. Seventh and 8th graders got a chance to take a turn on the drums while learning dance steps and songs from Ghana West Africa.
