OVERVIEW
Monte del Sol Charter School’s Casa Program serves homeless families and families at risk of homelessness. We ensure that all students have equal access to the same free public education. We remove barriers to enrollment, attendance, and success, and we ensure that homeless students are never separated or segregated. Our goal is to see every student in the program succeed, graduate, and go to college or vocational training. We provide extra supports to give them the same opportunities as their stably housed peers, and we waive all school fees for Casa families. We train faculty in identifying and supporting students experiencing homelessness.
